I spent several hours tonight reworking the Garbage Woman manuscript.  I had “finished” it when I sent it out a few months ago to four major literary contests.  Since it did not win the book contests, I am preparing to send it out to small presses. I know it was important for me to go through the process of sending it out to contests. It was an important step for me to try, and it was motivation to pull together a collection. I enjoyed the work then, and am enjoying it now.
